Onslow School students have been busy creating pictures for classroom door signs, the winning entries were selected by Ms Campbell and Mr Yates.
The new classroom names represent animals, plants and nature in and around Onslow country. They will be called by their Thalanyji (custodians of the land) names however students will also learn the Yindjibarndi and Banjima names as well.
We recognise there are many language groups in Onslow and have gone with the 3 main language groups.
Signs have been put up on each classroom. We welcome your feedback and once finalised they will be printed on a more permanent sign.
